Why on Earth anyone would leave their horses haltered is beyond me. If you don't have the time or patience to teach your horse to stand quietly while haltering or handling while in the pasture or pen, then to put it bluntly, WHY DO YOU HAVE HORSES?

Lately I have seen several horses on different farms and in different pastures with their halters on!! COME ON PEOPLE!! Taking that extra bit of time to train your horse is a lot smarter, kinder, and cheaper then having to pay hefty vet bills to have your horses face sewed back on!

Not only that but to be left on with sagging barbed wire fencing?!?! AND WITH A NEW FOAL WEARING A HALTER AS WELL?? These people should be shot int he the ass and locked up! COME ON! How stupid and ignorent can you get?

I worked in a vet clinic and have seen horses come in with half their faces missing and it just plain stupidity on the owners behalf. If they can't afford the bill then the horse is put down just becuase of some lazy ass idiot. >.<



NEWS!!

Well guys! Lots of updates this time and I appologize for the long delay! I had my Baby boy Lance Gabriel McKinnon on May 13th at 8:50PM after 29 YES! 29 HOURS of labor! Unfortunatly at that time my dr sudgested for the baby's health that I needed to have a c-section. :( I was going to do an all naturual labor with no pain meds but unfortuntaly I wasn't able to last that long. I made it about 24 hours with just laughing gas and phentanol but by the end i had to have the epidural and was put on oxygen for about 4 hours before I was sent to have the c-section. I was given a shot of morphine after he was out to calm my heartrate as i was starting to panic so i don't remember much until I was holding him. 9 POUNDS 3 OUNCES and 23 INCHES! OMG! I am very happy i listened to my dr when he told me to go with the c-section as it was very unlikley that i would have been able to push him out and probably would of ended up having an emergancy c-section had i managed to dialate fully. I am only 5'1 120 pounds and his papa is not a very large man either. BUT! He is here and we are both happy however i am unable to ride the horses for several more weeks.

Other updates: Sorry guys my computer is getting sent into the shop to have vista removed and put Windows XP on it. I got my dell computer a little over a year ago and had to have it reformatted once already because of blue screen errors when shutting down and have had continual problems with vista corrupting my photoshop programs and my simply accounting.

OMG!! less then two months until my wedding!! Photos are going to be fantastic and beautiful. I can't wait until my dress arrives!!

I appologize for the delay in pictures until I have my laptop back - hopefully not long and i thank everyone for being patient who are expecting pictures!

2009 CHECKLIST

1. Move horses to new facility - Complete Febuary 7th/09

2. Feirouz due to foal an Al Khamsa (Egypt I, II, BLUNT, Sa'ud, Davenport) Combined Source foal - Foaled out gorgeous colt March 28th/09

3. In late april/Early may we will be welcoming our first born son - Lance Gabriel McKinnon to our family! - Lance was born May 13th 2009

4.Early April/Late May - FTA Shamira Malik who is my coming 4 year old filly will be sent up to Grand Prairie to be bred to a "True Colors" son "SUPREME" for a 2010 Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa Asil foal. - Delayed until next spring!

5. July - Feirouz will be sent to be bred to BG Firefly who is a 99.2 % arabian Blood Pintabian. This foal will be exciting with lots of color!

6. July 25th MY WEDDING! Set in the rocky mountins we will be getting married in the back country near a large waterfall.

7. August 8th - Reception for friends and family at home town.

I am currently 22 years old and engaged to the best man in the world. We have a son born May 13th 2009 named Lance Gabriel McKinnon and we are getting married july 25th 2009.

My life revolves around horses and art and keeping my mate healthy and happy so that he can run his buisness as efficently as possible.

I currently breed straight egyptian and Al Khamsa arabians and have two breeding mares and one 2009 colt born march 28th.

I have been drawing since I was little but have never taken an art class other then art in school in which realism was the only media allowed. I love to draw a rariety of things and doubt that will ever change.

I also enjoy writing in my free time and hope to one day become a published author.
